Born in Ohio and raised mostly in South Florida, J. Wayne Williams worked as a carpenter for 28 years building bridges, barrier walls, and other highway related structures in the coastal U.S. from Virginia to Texas. After retiring, his daughters got him interested in reading fantasy novels, which eventually led to his decision to become an author.
He is a multi-genre writer who is soon expecting the release of a Paranormal Romance short story titled Anniversary Dinner in an anthology published by Solstice Publishing.

One of my favorite sites writing sites is Writing Excuses Which is a weekly podcast (every Monday) hosted by authors, Brandon Sanderson, Dan Wells, Mary Robinette Kowal and Cartoonist Howard Tayler. They have a ton of good writing advice so be sure to check them out.
